Pyro!
For the longest time I've been wanting to try my hand at pyrography.
The last time I did it was when I was in the 3rd grade and made that little frame for Mother's Day.
This Christmas I gifted myself a very inexpensive wood burning tool and used it on some bamboo pebbles I brought back from trip to Canada.

Simply gorgeous! Wish u would add those to Etsy!
Love them!
Just beautiful! Like everything else on this blog!

Ooh I love pyrography, I've not tried it for ages, I'll have to give it another go one day. Love the wooden pebbles too!
Very sweet Geninne! Remind me of Japanese baked manju branded with decoration.
As always, inspiring!
you have done great work, and you have performed great creativity, both are looking great. I want to say thanks for sharing this interesting Pyro!
How fun and pretty! I always wanted one of those when I was a child.
I really love how they turned out

Oh thats a great idea for the bamboo pebbles, your work is as beautiful as always!!! I have one of those tools and been working on different scrap pieces of wood that the last owner of this house left behind... Would like to use it on drift wood, so cant wait for summer so I can walk on the beach again.
Now I am very curious about the wood burning tool you bought yourself. Just what I need. More tools. Not really. :)
You'v remember me my childhood. I liked to make such things very much! Your pebbles are wonderful! But I never seen such bamboo pebbls in Russia.
so loving that frame you did, looks lovely. I bet you will be producing some awesome stuff with this new tool! x
Do you remember what tip you used? I have a pyrograph, should drag it out again & practice! Thank you, & merry Christmas <3
These are lovely. I love the wood pebble on the right!
I love your bamboo pebble art. I bought myself an inexpensive wood burning tool for Christmas too. I ordered it just a few days ago so I haven't received it yet. I had seen on someone's blog where they had taken inexpensive wood spoons and burned patterns along the handle and along the edge to give as gifts. It inspired me to try my hand at it. I can't wait. Then I found your bamboo pebbles tonight while blog-hopping. Lots of inspiration - thanks!
Very lovely work! Looks like it was a good investment :)
Hah! I thought about getting myself one in November but postponed it... Your pictures made me want it so much more, I think I will try to get one next week! As always, it's inspiring to come here and read your blog posts.
Fine
Good job! It looks good. I really enjoy all of your posts.Embroidery Digitizing
As always, anything new you try, you make it look so perfect! This must be an omen for me to get my pyrography tool! I have been eye-ing it for a few years but resisted only because I have enough projects on hand that I don't have time for and didn't want to just add another tool. But now you are tempting me. My dream would be to etch with this tool on a dry gourd I bought several years ago. I even bought a gorgeous book on gourds, hmm....time to give in :)
