House & Birds
I sew & sew bird ornaments while Manolo continues to make progress with our new house. Here are a few photos I took of the construction site over the weekend. The ground level (which is below street level) is where our bedrooms will be and the top level will have the living/dining room, kitchen and studio. I'm getting so excited about our house, can't wait to move in in the spring!

Qué maravilla!
Adelante! Qué emoción!
Since I first knew your blog I think Manolo and you have made and lived in at least three different houses...
... I can't imagine how it must be to move from a house you like/love as often as you do.
...I must admit, I am curious... Making beautiful houses, living in them and then selling, is it a way of life not only a way to make money...? Or is it part of Manolos "artform" ...making a house, challenged by the surroundings, living in it for a while and then finding another architectural challenge....?
Anyhow, they are all beautiful!
I love your blog soo much I put a link to it up on my website diyafy.blogspot.com
Your art is so wonderful.I wish I could buy it..but my money is isn't enough cause i'm just 16.. :D

Yay, Geninne, I received your prints today, What a fun way to celebrate my birthday early. I LOVE them. Thanks so much and for the post card as well. I love the stamps on your envelope. Everything you do is beautiful. EVERYTHING.
It will be beautiful, like its inhabitants.
Gorgeous birds again :). I'm always inspired by your pretty organisation of your tools, everything looked so yummy. I THANK YOU (and Monolo) for building your casa around the trees, preserve them as they are such beauty to behold. You are lucky to be living in nature like that soon :). I enjoyed pictures of your homes so much especially with your plants and Turbo in them!. HUGS.
How much energy to face another move! Your art and your approach to life is fantastic.
Best wishes

Qué ilusión, Geninne, seguro que es fantástica, como tú y toda tu familia (Turbo incluido, por supuesto!)
Me encantan esos pajaritos de tela.
Aunque no aparezco mucho en los comentarios, te sigo cada día. Un beso!
I certainly know what it's like to move so often, but you have beautiful homes built by your husband at least! that must allow for a lot of customization, which I imagine would be great.
Your work is lovely!

We built our own house a year ago, though the work is enormous and there is a ton of stress it is so worth it when you live in a space that really works for you!
I like it, I like it so much!!!
Beautiful all of your things!
Kisses from Argentina!

Bye!!!
Wow, your bedrooms are basically going to be underground! That’s so cool! I can’t wait to see what your house looks like when it’s finished. Good luck to you, and I hope you post more pics of the progress!
Congratulations on the progress of your home! Putting the bedrooms on the floor beneath, which is below street level, was a great idea. It will ensure privacy and security. Here’s to hoping your new home will be finished soon!
Sus cuadros me parecen muy hermosos
Un saludo
Life's full of surprises!
