On the way back from San Miguel we stopped at a roadside junk yard called Oso Viejo Antiques that sells gorgeous old wooden doors & curiosities. I was immediately drawn to the fading coats of chipped paint.
What an interesting place to stop and spend some time. Those doors are not fantastic only for their asthetic value and patena, but look at the workmanship, patience and skill that went into each one. They were not just slapped together like too much stuff is today. I love that you take us with you my dear Geninne. Hugs from Alaska.
Hi, I found a link to you in pinterest and I like it and follow them. I'am from Berlin, Germany and your doors are strangles to me, because our german doors looks diferent. I like your drawings. especielly the birs with white ink. Greetings from Susanne
Just back from Mexico and I also took many photos of the lovely doors down there...glad to see someone else admires the beauty of the aged paint and wood!
Que dichosa de vivir donde vives. Los colores in Mexico siempre son tan vivos. Que envidia (pero de la buena).

It looks beautiful, love the worn color of the doors! :-)
do they cost much? I could see Anthropologie utilizing those for a store display.
Lovely photo's. I love those old doors. Did you take one home? :)
This is exactly the type of place my BF & I love to stop on our drives. So jealous! I love how you've captured the place in pictures!
