Just wanted to say that I love your work and am so happy I found your blog. It's such a joy to read and a real inspiration. Your blog reminds me to not forget how creative I am and to do more with it. Superthanks!
I'm sure your originals found loving homes, as well as your prints. I think I'm going to have to give one of those new prints a home as well...they are all beautiful and I love this watercolor as well.
I hardly ever comment, but always read + drink up your beautiful images and eye for color...but I wanted to stop by today to tell you that I found your little bird day planner at anthropologie today...and it made me so happy to find it and to feel like I knew the story behind it... it made it feel somehow more special to me.
I love the cacti and birds! Everytime I see cacti with birds, or blue mason jars with paintbrushes in them, I think of you, now. It's the Geninne Cognition Disorder or something. =) I hope this one makes it to the print status on Etsy, 'cause this is really a fun piece. Your collage work is top notch and so seamless! I envy you.
Such a beautiful piece! I can even see it customized to have the "tweets" be invitation details, or names on a family tree...such a lovely composition.
Hi Geninne, thank you for sharing all your beautiful art. I follow your blog for a while, and I enjoy every post.
I read somewhere that you're using an Epson printer to print your art, but I can't remember which Epson it is. I have one too, it's Epson stylus photo 1280, but the color fades after a while. I'm not sure if you are using a special Epson fine art paper when printing, or if your printer is a special fine art printer.
Another question is your scanner, do you use a commercial one, or a home office one?
This is B-E-A-utiful! Love it! Just wanted you to know that I look at your blog every day (sometimes multiple times!) and just love how happy and pretty your artwork is. Not to mention the gorgeous photography! Your blog has inspired me to finally start one of my own, which adds pressure to DO art - love it! Thanks so much Geninne and keep the fantastic paintings coming! Huge fan, Sarah :)
In Perú we call this plant TUNA (written like the fish) its fruit comes in diferent colors and it's sweet and delicious. I love your work and I have to tell you that the Turtupilin (vermillion flycatcher) is my friend here also, in this part of the world we have the red male ones and a melanic variety which is almost salmon in both male and female. Un abrazo desde Lima, Kati

Gennine,
I saw the multi-paged layout of your studio on the Studio magazine the other day. I thought it looked familiar! Congrats to you.
