Turned a Sunday drawing into a pattern and made myself a pretty notebook. Drawing was done with micron pens, coloring pencils & watercolors on handmade Twinrocker paper.
For some reason when I saw the title of your post I thought only of the feeling in my stomach when I'm nervous, not the lovely creatures you've drawn :)
Such a lovely balance of colour and B/W linework, it looks gorgeous on the notebook cover. Thank-you for your blog posts! I always look forward to seeing what you are up to!
I'm a huge fan of your illustrated birds and now butterflies, I think I can die a happy person :) Will your butterfly notebooks be available for purchase?
I just also wanted to say that I was at a friend's house on the weekend and discovered your birdie post-its on her shelf. They were a present from her husband. I got quite excited and told her all about your blog! :o)
Gorgeous! After birds and flowers, butterflies is a natural transition :) I am waiting to cover my art journal with something pretty and I think I will draw/print to create paper like you did. May I ask if you duplicate it on PS before printing? I know it can even be done easily on MS Word...just asking. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.
