Sequoias

The other place we totally fell in love with is the Muir Woods National Monument.
It was absolutely breathtaking & inspiring to walk amongst the redwood trees.
We even caught a glimpse of a very well camouflaged deer!
Can you spot it in the last photo?

This is one of my most favorite places to visit. I love it.
breathtaking indeed! My favorite is the second to last... something about the water, and the leaves and the rocks, so many elements of God's wonderful creation wrapped up into one pretty image!
beautiful.. wish I could see it in reality one day.. :)
xxxx

hope you hugged one of those trees
I love the large format of the first picture, it does justice to the magnificent giants...I've visited Muir Woods a couple of times and have found it magical.
i LOVE Muir woods...it's so freakin' magical!!!
beautiful photos!!
I found it! Well done, deer...
Beautiful and inspiring!
Totally awesome photographs, quite beautiful :D
Very, very beautiful photos. Totally opposite scale from Margie's world. Forest giants versus wood nymphs. :)
those pictures are just outstanding!!
Wow... beautiful and what gorgeous photos too!
Trees are the best! :)
What absolutely gorgeous photos!
This place seems so incredibly tranquil. I seriously need to start making lists of what to do when I go to all the places I'm dreaming of going... In case I ever get around to it.
Lovely photos. One poster asked if you hugged the tree...just hope you didn't hug the poison oak. ;)
Beautiful photos!
I found you through Habit and was wondering about where you got that beautiful planner in your photo from October 20th? It looks lovely and spacious, just what I am looking for.
Thanks!
Tengo los mas adorables recuerdos de las dos veces que fui a Muir Woods (cuando yo vivia en el tropico!), asi que este post es un regalo para mi corazon.
Un beso
I love your photo collages, they are amazing! Such beauty, thank you for sharing!
Looks like heaven. Amazing how well the deer blends in with its surroundings.
So beautiful! Do you know if that stump has been inked, or is it naturally black? Have you ever seen a tree stump print?

oh i really really want to go there now!! the first photo is just magnificent...!! just put it in my list of 'places to go to' in america!!!! :D
I live quite close to here. It is a very magical place. Your art work is hanging nearby by the way! Love your photos from San Fran, you capture it in such a lovely way. Can't wait to see the artwork it inspires.
I live in the Bay Area and am so glad that you enjoyed Muir Woods, San Francisco, and Big Sur as well as the wonderful cafe with delicious pastries. Your picture of Morran is also a delight. As you can imagine, I am a great fan of yours and recently told a friend who lives in Queretaro about your art/illlustration. Thanks for your nice blog...so inspiring and creative.
So glad you visited Nor Cal! Muir Woods is my most favoritest place in the world! A feast for the imagination to run wild with fairies and other delights that I'm sure dwell beneath the canopy. Were you able to see any banana slugs?
Looks stunning! :-)
La visión de estos retazos de naturaleza son un bálsamo para el espíritu.
Gracias Geninne
Beautiful, is this heaven?
Such gorgeous pictures, I love the spiders web one especially. I wish I had somewhere this beautiful near me so I could go and practice my camera skills on something pretty =)
Qué preciosidad Geninne!
Gracias por estas fotos llenas de vida.
Amazing place to visit! Beyond breathtaking...
Absolutely beautiful photos!
Hermosas fotos!! qué paz se respira en ellas!! desde luego es un lugar que hay que visitar... lo pondré en mi lista de sitios a los que hay que ir. Gracias por compartir!
I saw the deer in your photo but not when we visited. I adore Muir Woods. We got there early in the morning before the tour buses and it was like we were the only people left in the world. The peace and quiet was amazing! Did you go to Muir Beach, also? It's one of my very favorite beaches.
I truely can imagine you fell in love with woods like these ....
Breath taking!!!
It looks like paradise...In Brazil the forests are very dense with almost no paths to walk through. You almost never see the animals...only the birds! American forests are amazing!
I've been to Sequoia Park many years ago and it was beautiful...
Wow that green looks healing, even over the computer.
oh..your photos look so tempting..especially when I look outside on the grey rainy sky!
beautiful photos! that first image is breathtaking!
