Hummmm....that's not an easy question to answer. I have way too many favorites to pick just one. But I guess Mexican and Asian foods are pretty high on the list. But a good black bean soup with rice, avocado, cheese and masitas also makes my knees weak.
I love soups with a lot of vegetables and lentil soup is one of my favourite.Just had some for lunch today.Beautiful bird.Love the colors.
i really love pink yellow and orange paired together. What a beautiful building and lovely painting! hmmm... favorite food? anything fresh from the garden.
Oh I love lentils too, but I prefer the black ones called kaviar lentils. Prepaired as a salad with different sorts of vegetables like corn, paprika, celery, cucumber, salt, pepper, oil and much balsamico vinegar.

My favourit food is a speciality of my hometown in Holland and it's a kind of pie we call "vlaai" and my favourit is ricepie or "rijstevlaai". Next time I make it I will make a tutorial for you, so you can make it yourself. It's delicious! MMMMMMMM....yammie.

Hmm favorite food - I really don't know. Gazpacho? Fresh baguette with butter. Or Camembert. Home made crumble apple pie? A good mango? Prawns and garlic bread? Fresh brezn and a beer? my husbands birmese curry? Pralines?Impossible to say...lentils are delicious as well. They do belong on the list! ;)

Lovely bird. We must be on the same wavelength as I just completed an art journal spread using magenta and yellow for my background. As for favourite foods - Prawn Vindaloo served over rice!! I also love a mix of roasted veggies. YUM!

Oh beautiful!!! Even when you sort lentils its beautiful!!! I would love to know how your notebook is going and don't say it is already in the mail!!! We began ours today (I know living on the edge and leaving it till the last minute!!) and had so much fun!!! I reckon if we manage a couple of pages a day we may just make it in time!!!
wow...that's hard to answer...there's so many. I would say french fries but I rarely eat them cuz they're so unhealthy(but totally delicious!!)...so then i guess it would be avocados.

Around here everything is icy white and bitter cold.
Burgess says "hey".
He sings parts of Frosty the snowman now, and Rudolph along with bits of La Cucaracha.
He also calls for "Tigger!" one of our dogs, very funny.
One of our favorite foods is ham and white bean soup simmered all night in the oven, it is so rich and good, especially with homemade bread.

Books are my favourite food... or more seriously, shrimps or crab with melted butter and lemon juice. Yummy !

I agree lentils are delicious, well worth the sorting and when you can make pretty photos from them all the better. I love the colours of that building.

I love your lentil love :-) And food? Hm, I like almost everything, so I can´t choose one for lunch or dinner but I prefer yoghurt and cereals for breakfast and mozarella with tomato, basil and olive oil for snack :-)

To answer your question, there was a time when I would have said corn was my favorite without hesitation, but now I'm not too sure. I guess I'd say talapia at the moment.

Geninne, that bird is lovely.
I tend to find comfort in different kinds of food but one thing that I always find comforting is kneading yeast dough. It's even vetter than eating the cake when it's ready!

I too love lentils (and that photo of them - wow!) but I'd have to say my favorite food might be bacon!
Gorgeous colors on the bird. I love bright colors! I too get inspired by colors I see in odd places some times. I was once so inspired to paint something in aqua blue/orange colors because I saw that as a background for a Mexican band that played in my town. Of course I don't paint regularly nor as beautifully as you do, but I was thrilled that artists like you and wanna be artists like me get inspired by similar things at times :)

I also go for avocado, hummus, bread with rice syrup and tahina, pane e nutella, ribollita (Tuscan black cabbage soup), pasta with broccoli, Chinese stir-fried rice, a good roasted sea-bass with potatoes... yum!
