(^^) A veces pasa. Lo importante es el momento y una se olvida de la cámara. Precioso buho ♥ ¿O es una lechuza?

As we watched last night, from a rather cloudy sky we caught glimpses of the eclipse. The moon looked like a vanilla wafer. At one point we saw a fair amount of stars including Orions Belt. Then, magically, we saw a shooting star! This is really something as we are in the 4th largest city in the USA! and usually don't get to star gaze much. I thought to myself, Geninne will paint a wonderful rendition of this sight.
Merry Christmas to you and your family.

I love it! And I'm jealous you saw the eclipse; I drove around searching but couldn't catch a glimpse of it through the clouds!

Oh no! I missed it. I was completely passed out in exhaustion. I had ALL these plans to wake up the kidlet. As it turns out, we were too cloudy here to see it anyway, but I still think, "what if".

I only got to see it at 10pm and 2am--both times it was only about 1/4 occluded, with no particular color effects. But it was lovely nonetheless! No photos as I have a junky automatic camera...
