I'm doing a little happy dance today. My favorite season is here! :)

I have been noticing that Fall seems to be most of us, Artists favorite season of the year.... Yay!!, Fall...LOL :-)
I, too am celebrating! Crisp days with bright blue sky, burnt orange leaves and crunchy red apples, YUM.

Even though we're in Florida, it's pretty much "spring" here, too. It rains and storms and is dark and cloudy all summer, so when the fall comes, it's like spring. The sun comes back out, the weather is crisp and dry-er, the trees and flowers come back into bloom again and everything feels alive.
Well, we have a few more days of summer - at least officialy :), but I'm also happy about the autumn - I love it, too, eventhough every season has its own charm for me.
I wish you many coloured leaves, Geninne! :)

Thank you for acknowledging us folk in the southern hemisphere!! Spring is indeed upon us (although it's still cold, but it's a little lighter and the birds are chirpier)... but I absolutely prefer Autumn. Lucky northerners!!

I love this, you're just as talented in photoshop as by hand! My favorite season is also fall although I've only lived in FL and CA so I've never really been able to experience it!
I hear you've bought some air-plane tickets. I wouldn't do it, they read other people's emails to find inspiration.

Fall is my most favorite season, although it doesn't arrive in the Intermountain West (Nevada) until late October, just before Hallowe'en, my favorite holiday. I adore pumpkins and love to line my entry walk with them, uncarved. They stay there until Christmas. The sycamore tree in the front yard turns golden before dropping it's leaves, the ash turns a lovely burgundy color and makes the walkway look lovely. And it's apple time, does it get any better than that?

Which is faster - hand watercoloring the sketch or coloring in Photoshop? I love fall - it is the only thing I've missed moving to FL from the Midwestern U.S. But we do get respite from the humid hot summer in our fall.
