Hello again!

Spoons
When I unpacked all my wooden spoons it seemed they deserved a snapshot.
They're in dire need of some TLC so I want to make some of this wonderful spoon oil that Stephanie wrote about at 3191.
Tiny sneak peek....
Here's a tiny sneak peek of our beautiful home.
It's a wood molded bare concrete wall in our living room.
And bellow is a gorgeous lot of seaweed prints from my favorite Etsy vintage shop: Trampoline
Seaweed prints
Whew! We're so happy to be home!
Still lots of boxes to unpack & work to be done but it's SO worth it!
I'm thrilled to be back and sharing with all of you...
It might be a couple of weeks more before I have my studio up and running.
We are currently using it as storage for all the unpacked boxes!

congrats on the new home!

i must share a story that the first photo reminds me of. when my mom went to paint the family room a couple of years ago, she moved all the furniture out. in doing so she found a HUGE pile of wooden spoons (similar to those above) hidden under one of the chairs. as it turns out, my littlest sister would hide them so my mom couldn't use them to spank her! so hilarious. too bad we never thought of that! the honestly was about 20 wooden spoons.

congratulations on your new home. by the few photos you shared I think it must be wonderful. I myself love moving. you find things you had forgotten and you can take the opportunity and clear out things you don't need. and decorating a new house is fun too. good luck and all the best.

So fun to be able to drop in and learn you are home! It's been great catching up with all that you've been blessed with. Love the book feature, the cute t-shirt, and the etsy treasuries. The kid's draw and cook art and blog are fantastic.

so exciting! REgarding the spoon oil, you don't have to use mineral oil. I used Canola, but you can also use coconut oil or the like. Mineral oil may be "non-toxic", but it's still a by product of distilling petroleum.

I love my spoon oil!
