Iron-On

When I bought the iron-on transfer paper to make the fabric bird banner I also bought a package of iron-on transfer paper for dark fabrics and tried it out this week with my flowery elephant on a dark green tee. The pretty triangle pattern linen bag is from Bookhou and the dark teal gossamer scarf is from Uniform Natural.

bello!!!!!!!!
i Love it!
Congrats!
me encanta!
tienes un tutorial para hacerlo? y dónde compraste el papel transfer?
I love it!! You could definitely sell these in your shop -- I think they would sell out immediately. :)
I would buy one immediately! It's GLORIOUS!!!!
Me encanta!! se ve muy padre!
Pregunta, que tan bien aguantan esos transfers las lavadas?
Me encanta todo lo que haces :)
Oh, I love it! Really awesome!
gorgeous! everyone is right! they would sell out!
Oh my gosh, I want one!
gorgeous!
you should really do more of your art on fabric
and hip hip hurray for bookhou
You have to market these! Who wouldn't want one of the t-shirts with your art on it...I would buy one or two or three!
Lovely t-shirt , nice and perfect elephant design.
It turned out wonderful!
Cuánto hacía que no pasaba y las cosas que has hecho, una maravilla, tu calidez, tu dibujo, tu arte. Te felicito !!
love it, the transfer is so fun!
Geninne...... love it! You are so inspiringly creative!
That is so awesome! Years ago, when I started painting mandalas - a friend of mine said "I could see them on clothing and bags." I bought the transfer paper, but the shirt I used had too much stretch to it and it washed right off. I should do it again. Thanks for the inspiration.
So, will these be arriving in your shop soon? ;-)
such a beautiful still life - I love how that transfer worked out - I think the dark tee made the image really pop.
xx
That looks so great! Now your art can get out of the house and wander about in the world!
This is gorgeous, I would buy it in a minute!
Ooh ooh ooooh... I want that shirt! :)
Love it -- the color, the sleeves, the elefante con pájaro... all of it!!
its beautiful!
I'd probably buy it on the spot if available in a store. Looks beautiful . i especially like the way you've managed to mix the elephant+the bird+flowers. Congrats !
I like how you combined the colours of the tee and the scarf. The image is cute, of course:-)
oh, and thanks for introducing BOOKHOU to me - I love the blog and the projects.
I forgot to mention the sleeves - they're great: a tee with a twist!
Girl, your talent for arranging still-lives is really something!
As someone new to selling artwork online, I am consistently inspired by your ability to photograph lovely "still lives" of your work. Absolutely LOVELY!
Love the t-shirt! I've had a box of transfer paper gathering dust - you have motivated me to give it a try! So great, Geninne!
This looks lovely. I've used those iron on transfers myself- I embroidered ove an image of Frida Kahlo, I loved my shirt, but unfortunately I was not super careful with the laundering of my t-shirt and somehow it found it's way into the washing machine and unfortunately it has started to peel off in places. Very sad.
So just a word of warning, Hand wash only!!!!
¡¡¡¡¡bello!!!!!!
¡¡¡bello!!!!
I love it!!! I loveee the T- shirt!!
I want it.
Es super hermosa!! Espero que pronto hagas muchas más!

jack uses that transfer paper to put his comics onto t-shirts for his friends. :^)
love your elephant!!
xoxoxo
Hi Geninne,
Can you please tell me what the book is called, the one with the octopus on it?
This is one of my favourite images of your...the elephant and I hope to buy a print of it soon to grace my home...on a t-shirt it's even more amzing..great ideal.
love!
that's the best use of dark t-shirt transfer paper i've ever seen! i have never been happy with my results in the past....i love that you cut out the elephant instead of leaving a white background {i think that's what you did?}...
anyhoo...it's wonderful!
Wow! The image is really striking on the dark t-shirt. I would like to echo what other commentators have said; I would buy a t-shirt on the spot if you had them in your shop!
Would you post a tutorial? I am not very crafty but your blog is amazing - I want to do everything now!
