New Rocks

I was immediately inspired to make some new hand painted stones
after I read my friend Margie's beautiful guest post at Indie Fixx.
The round stone is 6 inches in diameter, the biggest one I've painted yet!
These will all be companions to my succulent and cactus collection,
Manolo made a really nice place for them in the new house.
Hand painted with white acrylic ink & a very fine (No.1 or 2) round brush.
***The little white pebble vase is from my favorite ceramist:
Paula Valentim of Otchipotchi.

Lovely work.
I love these stones, they are so gorgeous. It's amazing how you found the right shape of rock for that perfectly proportioned bird! You are inspiring me to paint the black rocks I collected lo.n..g time ago and dreamed of painting them. Now is the time :)
Just gorgeous stones! May I ask if you used white acrylic ink on the stones too? Do you use a fine brush or an ink pen? I would think it would be hard to achieve such fine lines with a brush unless it's done by an expert like you!
The passionflower rock is stunning. You are very skilled! Does the acrylic ink withstand the outdoors or do you use these for indoor decor only?
Oh, I love the bird and the dandilion flower seeds blowing in the wind...they're all beautiful.

beautifully done - I love the calming look of the white on the stone.
They're all so lovely, but the passionflower on that perfect flat stone is gorgeous! And they look really great the way you've arranged them!
These are gorgeous, they quietly grab my attention.

Absolutely beautiful! A joy to look at!
Magical!
I like stones so or so, I always bring some from my holydays for a nice memory.
But these, painted so delicately, like lace, these are so much more beautiful to watch.
Looks just like they can be found in the nature already painted like that! :)
These are so beautiful and precious. What a delight!
absolutely amazing and absolutely perfect...

Geninne! Me encantan tus piedras y la manera en que haces que se vean espectaculares! Gracias por compartir cómo es que las haces y los materiales que utilizas! Creo que he logrado inspirarme para pintar algunas de las piedras que he juntado durante algunos paseos! =D

I adore these. I am a rock hunting nut. So much more interesting than collecting sea shells. If only I could find one so lovingly decorated.
these are absolutely stunning! xo malia
