Un-Pinked

Ah! The wonders of Photoshop...
I like this version much better. I can't change the original as easily unfortunately.

Here's a pretty color combo I saw on a recent visit to the quaint town of Tequisquiapan. It might be the reason you've been seeing more shades of red incorporated into my work lately :)

I do also like much more better. Don´t feel comfortable with pink. So nice this one, great photoshop!
Take care. Flo from Argentina
So beautiful...definitely prefer this one :-)
Your birds are stunning...I know I am a broken record!
Have a lovely day.

I loved the pink, but now I've seen this one I much prefer it...gotta love photoshop!

unfortunately?...why? i found the pink one not so bad...actually i like it better...it has "that something"...

It's amazing how different they look with the backgrounds changed. Ah, the magic of photoshop! I'm loving the palette you've been using lately.
Yes...I like it like this. I am a Mexican, but still "Rosa Mexicano" is too much for me :)
hola geninne!! como no inspirarse con esos rojos colorados!! son divinos!!!besos enoooormes y como siempre que vengo a tu blog ... me lleno de bellezasssssssss!!!besosss!!
Both look nice! although there is nothing like a simple, white background to make artwork stand out.
Those flowers are bea-u-ti-ful!!! :)

Yes, now that I see this one I definitely like this one better. The bird and beautiful leaves stand out better.
Gorgeous photo of the red against grey!
wow, you really are amazing with photshop. Is there a quick tool that you use take the background colour out (like magic wand)? or do you have to trace around it with a marque? I like them both by the way, though the colours do seem to stand out more on the plain background.
Hola Geninne,
Me gusta mucho más éste, no soy de tanto rosa.
Saludos.
Ale
I love this one! They are both stunning, this just seems to show of the details.
I continue to appreciate seeing your process here in the posts. This is a lovely bird, and the neutral background is better for it.
Whilst I really liked the pink, somehow I'm liking this more! Is there a chance that this is going to be available in your shop anytime soon?! I'm in love with this painting. Thanks!!
the particular shade of red-violet in his wing top is my favorite color lately, and I usually hate pinks. so pretty.
I thought I liked the pink - but the bird and leaves show up so much better on this background...they're both lovely, all the same! :)
Well..I personally prefer the pink one, it would look great with a dark frame, and I love the lilac/violet against the backgroung!!

Wow...that is beautiful...I love it! xxx
Simply fantastic!
Geninne, I like both versions. They're the same, yet different, and lovely. The pink one would look great against a white frame hung or placed in a home decorated mostly in white with bright splashes of colour.
Have a great week!
Takole je: I don't see this as "which one is better", but as two separate art-pieces.
Each one is lovely, depends what and where to is made for.
First one is more like: all elements on the painting are somehow equal to each other and make some kind of a pattern. The bold background helps with holding everything together as one object.
But the bird's diagonal is still seen good enough to make the difference.
The second one is a classic beauty and there is not much to be said, the painting speaks on its own. It's free as a bird - without sweet-saturated air.
If you don't have to decide, it's ok, but if you do - then you have a problem :)
Looks very antique, good job with the photoshop — it's my very favorite computer application!
I would like to see him on a bright white background! There's so much blue in the colors of the bird, and I think he would shimmer right off a stark white background.
I am now obsessed with finding one of these in the real world. So beautiful!
I like the original best! The pink background is more in harmony with the colours in the painting, I think.

Warning! Don't publish any comments in Chinese that come from an unfamiliar source. My blog was hacked. I lost a bunch of pictures from previous posts.
It's funny, but I still love the pink. I agree that it stands out better on the new background, but I think I like the pink precisely because you never go there typically. Experimentation is fun! Your work is always beautiful.
Love them both! But I think the "un-pink" one is better. You've made me want to dye some paper. I'll have to go buy some tea bags though since I don't drink tea or coffee! ;)
Wao, amazing. Your work is so beautiful.
i really want to come and learn photoshop from you as well as a million other things
This little fellow is lovely :)
