It was fun to use needle and thread again, I hadn't done it in a while. I used chain stitch. It's my favorite stitch to "draw" on fabric. I got the pretty linen tea towel at Manos.
Hi, I randomly found your blog while looking for stamp carving instructions. I absolutely adore your style, it's so bright and fun, and your stamps have made me break out the carving set that's been in its packaging for 3 years.
It's been a joy to read back through all your beautiful work! Have added this blog to my Livejournal feeds so I can keep being inspired :D Thank you for sharing.
OH MY GOODNESS. Guess what? Ever since I've been reading your blog, I've been thinking "I need to email her and see if it would be cool if I could embroider some of her art!!!!!" But I've been shy. After seeing a birdie all embroidered up I know that they'd be so perfect for embroidery!! Creative collaboration?? I have a cool idea, if you're interested!!....
your craftiness never ceases to amaze me! this is awesome! x
