Embroidered Tea Towel

Embroidered Tea Towel
It was fun to use needle and thread again, I hadn't done it in a while.
I used chain stitch. It's my favorite stitch to "draw" on fabric.
I got the pretty linen tea towel at Manos.

Hi, I randomly found your blog while looking for stamp carving instructions. I absolutely adore your style, it's so bright and fun, and your stamps have made me break out the carving set that's been in its packaging for 3 years.

It's been a joy to read back through all your beautiful work! Have added this blog to my Livejournal feeds so I can keep being inspired :D Thank you for sharing.

Exquisite! The linen, the bird, the stitching - it is just perfect. How was the eye done? Is it painted?

I haven't embroidered since Christmas, but you have given me the inspiration I need to get going again.

After seeing a birdie all embroidered up I know that they'd be so perfect for embroidery!! Creative collaboration?? I have a cool idea, if you're interested!!....
