I think you might like this video where a composer use birds on electrical wires as notes to compose a song. http://gusandotherthings.blogspot.com/2009/09/bird-on-wire.html
Okay . . . me, the ever curious one, wants to know why those birds seem to fly in unison from the wires at the same time? Can they feel electrical currents runnint through at times? Is one the alpha leader the others follow? Does the position on the wire, or within the group denote some sort of hierarchy, like a hen pecking sort of thing? Curious minds want to know! Great video and music to go along with it! :)
Georgeous, and great music! I think the birds are swallows. They fly here in spring and summer and when they fly in groups... it's like watching art- air- waves!
qué bonito!! me encanta como salen todos volando a la vez de la misma cuerda!! alucinante! Por cierto Geninne, he dado con una tienda online que tienen unas cosas preciosas y algunas con pajaritos... te la dejo a ver si te gusta. Un beso!
Opening your blog is always so exciting...and if I happen to miss a couple of days and then catch up....so much fun. The BIRDS are unbelievable....could you have been a bird in another life! You capture them so well. Your new abode looks fabulous! Thanks for sharing. It's 3 degrees here in CT this morning....that is insane. :)
http://roostershamblin.wordpress.com/ would you please spend a few minutes checking out my blog. I am a farmer who has been raising over 50 breeds of chickens for forty years.
love these little birds...they come here to south Florida...call them "'cuse me's". while sitting at a traffic light we watch them land on the electric wires...each has his own little space..if one lands too close - they all scoot down to even out the space between. Just like in church - excuse me..excuse me..excuse me!
Wonderful video - thank you! I was looking at some beautiful bird photos on the BBC website over the weekend and, naturally :), thought of you. You can see them here if you'd like...
Cute...reminds me of a Disney cartoon. Can't remember which one, but it had a little clip with birds on a wire and I remember my son laughing so hard he'd loose his breath.
Love, love, love this! I have been known to almost run off the road because i am trying to watch the dance of flocks of birds on the wires overhead. The music was exactly the right choice too. Plan to watch it many times over. Thanks! Chris K
Are you able to share with us the name of that song? Everytime I listen to it - it makes me smile so. It's the perfect laying on grass and watching the birds melody. Thanks,

it's like they are the musical notes magically dancing in the sky - esp. with the wires like the musical scale.
