Here's something fun to make with hand carved stamps...personalized stationary!
Any type of paper will do. I used a really nice speckled banana fiber paper stationery writing set that I got at my local organic produce store and embellished it with my own carved rubber stamps.
What a lovely idea. You are very talented!

oh please can you tell me where the organic produce store is. I have lived in teh area for a while but treasures like this I have not found.
they look great! :)
Perfect craft for the cold fall afternoons.
It´s so nice. As all your work... But I just love the pair of scissors!!!
You rock! (and very nicely painted ones, too! ;)
Now if only people would write more actual paper letters, eh?
What brand is the fountain pen? I want it! My favorite is the one with the ship and feather, it's lovely - the detail on those stamps.....I saw the video of you making it and I don't think I could do it. You are so talented!! If ever you decide to sell those two stamps, let me know!!
* PS - got an error message the first time I tried to publish this comment, hope it doesn't post it twice!
very nice ;)
That is nice, organic produce store? I like the sissors also!
It is always nice to receive snail mail and especially nice if the sender has taken the time to make the stationary. Beautiful as always.
Beautiful!

What beautiful stationery! I used to write lots and lots of long letters to pen pals worldwide. Now it seems e-mails are faster and have managed to replace almost everything!
You made me want to try this though!Ariadne from Greece

They look beautiful. How do you hand carve rubber stamps? do you use lino pads? There's a compay here in london that can turn drawings into rubber stamps but I'd love to know how to carve my own. any suggestions? thanks x
