this is such a great idea. i love how you made each one look unique. how do you stay so prolific? do you ever go through droubts? you're always working on something. it's amazing, but seemingly impossible to me as a mom. any advice would be so helpful and appreciated :)
:) ilike the colors...and i`m so sorry that here, where i live, i can`t find vivid colors like these:{ althought i made my 1st stamp just before a few hours! and i`m thankful for your tutorial! :))
how lovely - really pretty. I am always smiling when I read your blog! (adorable puppy too - I have a 4 year old one of those and she is so sweet - and clever!)
Lovely as always! I was so excited to see this post - I have the same exact Colorbox palette! I love it! I love the idea of creating stamps for each part of the flower. Very very creative. :) Thanks for sharing!
My human mom has the same colorbox stamp pad too!! Sometimes she has me place my paw on the larger ones so I can "sign" my own correspondence! Just a thought for Turbo...heee, heee! Tail Wags to All. ~Moose
Oh itty bitty stamps! How cute, but not as cute as all the great puppy pictures.
I got into stamp carving through letterboxing. You might love letterboxing if there's some in your area, otherwise you have to start it to get the trend going. It is a treasure seeking game involving hiking in a lovely spot and collecting art via hand carved stamps that you follow clues to find in a box. I hope that's not confusing. Letterboxing is a ton of fun and my kids love it too. You can look at Letterboxing.org/mexico to see what boxes are hidden in your area. Then you print out the clues, get your kit set up and go adventuring!
Everyone else can look at letterboxing.org and there's links to other countries.
I didn't plan to talk about this, it just came up. Thanks for sharing your lovely blog!
FYI... I went out and bought the tools/materials you suggested to make stamps. I tried my hand at it and am now EVEN more impressed with your abilities!! I did... okay for a first try... but I'm so impressed with how tiny you can get the details. That is what I had trouble with. And doing circles! Those were tough.
p.s. that stuff DOES cut like butter, I was shocked!
oh my goodness- so sweet! i always love seeing the wonderful goodness you create with so many different mediums- you are so versatile in your artistry. just fantastic! thank you kindly for sharing and providing heaps of inspiration & cheer here- i enjoy your blog lots!
hello, I've discovered your blog a few weeks ago and I have to say I am really impressed by your works. those stamps are soo cute. in addition, I've inspired myself from how you carve your stamps and I did one myself. it is really fun. however, I live in france and I could not find the carving blocks you use so I used a rubber! thank you for your sharing...
Every time I look at your blog you are working on something new and your ideas go on and on. I love these sweet little stamps, and the tutorial. Thanks
your stamps are great. so often I want to make stamps but never know where to start. I think I am going to have to do some research on how to make them and were to get the rubber. I cant go back to Lumen's however, cause I will spend way too my moola there like I did last week.
When I saw this *smack forehead*, I HAD to make my own set of similar (five stems--some leafy and some bare, five flower heads, and three separate leaf shapes) and it's just been the most fun I've had carving and stamping.
Thank you and God bless you, Geninne, for always being such a wonderful inspiration, in both what you do and how you do it, with such obvious joy and aplomb.
