This is gorgeous! White on brown paper is one of my favorite combinations. I've been using your tutorial for my first attempts at carved stamps this week and can't wait to try them out on wrapping paper. It's quite addicting! Wonderfully so! Thanks for the constant inspiration!
just found you through Artful Blogging mag. LOVE all your birds! and thanks for the great stamp carving tutorial, i took a mini-class a few years ago and now you've inspired me to get out my supplies and start making new stamps. yours are so lovely!
We do printed wrapping paper too - it's so much fun and very satisfying seeing your own designs on the paper. However, my stamps are nowhere near as beautiful and intricate as yours.
Lovely wrapping paper - it would be a shame to open it :-)
Very nice! I love that birdie stamp. I also noticed you stamped your pomegranate onto a moleskin journal. I'm planning on making a planting journal for my dad's birthday. I've just got to make some sort of "planty" stamp. I really like your different sized pot stamps. You can do so much with that! Thanks for all the stamp inspiration!
Ooooh I love it too!! You should try the stamp pattern on fabric using Spoonflower!!
I love it almost as much as your bird love print I just received. It's so gorgeous!! The paper it's on makes it look like an original. It very special to me!! Thank you!!!
Hello I see your blog for the first time and i am very impressed about your work. Have you ever think to do fabric design? Yours birds are so cute. Bravo!
So lovely, like all of your projects! You truly are incredibly talented. I love projects like this that combine my love of hand-carved stamps and my love of bird images.
I have a big roll of kraft wrap that I picked up at IKEA several years ago. I've only tried once to use my hand-carved stamps on it, a leaf design stamped in opaque inks. It wasn't as nice as yours, but not bad for a first try. You've inspired me to give it another try!
I really like your tutorials on making stamps. This seemed like so much fun - I went to buy linoleum cutters and can`t wait to start making stamps. The thought of re-use my own design over and over again on letters, as a "logo", as decoration - it will be so much fun! And I think your artwork is awesome and joyfull. :)
I`m sorry if it turnes out I`ve already written you a comment here, but I can`t find it. Anyway - great tutorials on how to make stamps! I`ve bought linoleum cutters and I`m ready to make stamps :) I have gone through a lot of your pictures and they are so nice and joyfull. And this wrapping paper is lovely. Keep up the good work
I am loving this wrapping paper idea! I'm weary of commercialized looking wrap for gifts-this is just perfect and looks refreshingly homemade/natural. I love it.
I would love to receive a gift wrapped up with such love! Thank you so much for your great tutorial for stamp making - I have a link to it on my blog. x nadine little lovelies

Oh yes! I've done this before! Why pay money to have someone else make something that you can make yourself? Your paper looks wonderful.
I have been experimenting with wrapping this year. Some of the experiments are kind of out there, but they're still fun!
Your gifts looks wonderfully delicious! I don't think a person could buy better looking gifts.
Lovely! I like the simplicity of the white on brown.
It's beautiful! I'll have to try this sometime.
Gorgeous!!
All about it is perfect - from stamp itself to the final result... I can't stop staring at this... Great!

Your designs always leave my jaw open. Simply lovely.
Q: What kind of ink do you use for your stamps (Normal stamp pads?)? Or is it just acrylic paint?
Hermoso!!!
How beautiful. I love your bird stamps. I've done this for Christmas wrapping with snowflake stamps.

lovely idea indeed! I'm a big fan of brown paper + raffia wrapping, this takes it to a whole new level!
simply mindblowing!
Wonderful, I do love white on kraft. It would make beautiful fabric on unbleached linen!
Everything that comes from your hands is so beautiful.
Yours is so much cooler and prettier and tidier than mine!
Hi Geninne. This looks gorgeous!
I'm sure many of us would be delighted if you give a few short tips on how to ink your stamps using acrylic ink. :-))
I love the white on brown, too. And any wrapping paper that works well on small packages is a great paper indeed.
What a great idea! I Have to go carve a stamp now! I love the white on brown. I've printed white on unbleached linen before and love the effect.
So beautiful, so airy and fresh! And well made... wow. You are best served by yourself, isn't it?
This is absolutely gorgeous!!
