First watercolor of 2009
I had not touched my watercolorsin almost four weeks!
I bought a Sennelier panoramic format
watercolor paper blockthat I really liked at Dick Blick.
The paper measures roughly
9 x 4 inches.

You're amazing! So precise.
Oh that is an interesting format. So beautiful!
Beautiful! Oh I wish I could paint like that, or even at all ;-)
And the photo composition is beautiful as well. :-)
I just bought some watercolour paper in exactly the same shape. However my painting is no where near like yours! I've had a 12year break from watercolours and am very rusty! (Also my eyesight has started to go! I think I need to go and get them checked! Very frustrating when you are trying to paint fine detail!)
I love your work and it is the reason I've gone and dug out some watercolours! Thank you
Beautiful! Such crisp and clean colours. Love the format too.
WoW! I have just discovered your blog and what an inspiration! I love your latest watercolour. Actually I love everything!!
How do you get the fish scales to have a white outline when using watercolour?

I have been browsing your blog for a little over a month and I love IT! You style is so clean and vibrant, it makes me want to refine my work a little, my style is completely different. I so look forward to reading your blog everyday! Thanks for inspiration!!!
love the panoramic size. and just a note--my drawers never look that clean!!
Stunning
You have the most neat, controlled water color I have ever seen. I would love be a fly on the wall of your studio... learning your secrets! Happy new year!
I love this watercolour paper !

What camera do u use geninne? Your photos are so beautifully shot! A very HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009!!!!
Regards,
Veda
Can I ask what kind of watercolor you use and what kind of pens you use for your journals?
I love that kind of paper and have been using it for some time.
I'm so impressed with your work! It's just so inspiring!

Love the panoramic format. Strathmore has a 6"x12" book of 10, linen canvas pad for acrylic that is a lot of fun, too. Your illustrations are beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
