I super love late autumn and early winter, they both are such beautiful seasons! This post totally captured the beautiful of autumn, amazing, amazing photos :):)
I definitely agree, I went to go take some pictures of my town the other evening...the light is just amazing! I love watching the yellow pour through the windows and into the house...also pouring through the trees!
I think I love each new season as it comes and brings something new. So, whichever season we are in, is the one I love. (I like your butterflies on the wall!)
I thisk you have captured the feel of autumn so well in these photos. I think it`s my frst year when I admit that autumn is my favorite season. It has been summer till now.
I`m happy to know that someone else is having butterflies on the wall too and it's not tacky or kitch..... :)
Oh, Geninne, you are so lucky to have great beautiful light these days! Ours have been so dark and dreary, and it has bad light for my photos (or at least i need to re-think it, or at least i need to purchase a tripod!)
Your house is really nice. I love June, full of promises, summer means long walks in the country, flowers -especially roses-, smells, beautiful evenings. But every season has its own beauty and I try to enjoy every day.
I'd have to say autumn as well. We get the summer sun minus the scorthing heat around this time. Your home looks so cozy :) By the way, are those shadow boxes mounted on your walls?
I'm a Spring baby and spring just rejuvenates me like nothing else. But there is beauty in the light of all seasons and I look forward to the changes every few months.
You know, I envy your autumn light at the pictures...
I love the colors of the autumn, but as autumn colors also mean a decreasing amount of light and the prospect of winter creeping upon us, I can not bring myself to like this time of the year. Up here in the midth of Finland we're reaching the worst part of the year at the moment. I wake up in darkness, I leave home in darkness and I reach work in darkness. During the day I can sense some daylight through the windows, and when I head home it is, yet again, completely dark outside. Some of us handle the darkness better than others. I have developed a tendency to get sensitive to stress, slightly depressed, tired and at times having troubles sleeping. And eating five times more chocolate than normally...
Summer must therefore be my favourite season, simply because of the fact that all of the daylight I am being deprived of at the moment is payes pack during summer. I live a bit too far south to be able to enjoy the midnight sun, but I don't mind. I still enjoy the fact that the nights in June-July never turn dark. And struggling in the darkness of the winter I try to focus on the fact that me not feeling well is basically just the symptoms of a severe lack of daylight, and will pass - this year as every year before. And when the light of the summer arrives i will be the most energetic and competent version of myself that I know about. In winter, most things get me down. In summer I'm invincible.
Autumn as well. The colors are so rich, super-saturated.

Those are gorgeous! Such rich, warm colors in your home. They go perfectly with autumn which is my favorite season as well.
