The Tiny Book of Birds
This is a little accordion book I made today.
I learned book bindingwhile visiting my sister in Spain
almost 13 years ago.
I wrote the title with watercolor anda very fine round brush.
It makes a really cute display.The "Tiny Book of Birds"
measures 2 by 1.5 inches.

It is absolutely adorable. You printed out the birds, right? (My eyes will pop out of their sockets if you tell me you painted those beautiful birds in such tiny versions...)

The birdies are printed on Fabriano watercolor paper.

Thanks for the inspiration, Geninne! I'm working out designs right now for tiny books to add to my etsy shop, so this was just the motivation I need. Im also wondering, do you prefer making them with watercolor paper, or do you think medium weight drawing paper can also be a good choice?
PS: accordian pages are a great alternative to the standard book structure!

This is so cute. I used to make tiny little books when I was a child. I wrote my poetry in them. I haven't done one for a very long time. I am inspired every time I look at your blog!
