On my mind lately...

I've been obsessing about the ocean lately
and I came across these wonderful
seaweed pressings at Martha Bellocq's Etsy Shop
They arrived today and I just can't stop looking at them,
they are so very beautiful.

That is so weird. Tonight I was researching algae for a project I'm working on in the lab for my internship. These are beautiful btw!

These are gorgeous. Thanks for letting us all see them. I've tried pressing seaweeds and found that they fade very quickly. I'm wondering if the ones you have shown are sealed?

Wow! Those are amazing. I have a very old collection from the late 1800's but they're really faded now. I love the colors of yours. Great find.

Beautiful pictures! They remind me of some "oceany" drawer knobs I've been admiring lately from monkeyshines etsy shop. I've just recently come across your blog. It is so much fun to read. I love all the color you incorporate!

Geninne, qué lindo es todo por estos lados... Tus dibujos, tu casa, tu mesa de trabajo, los objetos, las piedras... me dí un lindo paseo, me alegró la mañana.
Saludo!

The seaweed pressings are beautiful. I'm curious... what's prompted this obession with all things ocean? I'm always interested in hearing about the motivation of artists.

those prints are awesome, I love Etsy there are so many talented people on there. I am going to have to check that seller out. Everday ?I discover new things on Etsy and I love buying from the little businesses and contributing to the growth of indie artists.

Dropping in here is always a treat for the eyes! I have an award for you to pick up if you like on my blog... although I am not sure you are into that kind of thing... anyhow just a token of appreciation!
Cheers!
